Communication has always been of paramount importance for Heather. Her passion lies in being able to find a connected, creative and nourishing path through the complexities that life’s journey brings.
Heather is an experienced psychological coach who works at depth with her clients, both individually and with teams. She also offers bespoke training and organisational development as well as supervision for other coaches.
She founded Connect Coaching in 2013 having completed a four year post-graduate coach training programme at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London.
Heather’s coaching practice has a particular focus on creativity and symbolic imagination. She works with people to help them determine their purpose by building self-awareness and will. She believes by working creatively and playfully clients can break away from old patterns and understand themselves better.
Based in Cornwall, she sees clients face to face at her home on the edge of the cliff in Portreath! In addition, she also provides coaching and supervision via Zoom.

Heather offers coaching for individuals and teams. She will work with you to deepen your understanding of the heroic and courageous qualities required in making life’s journey, offering methods and practices that enable and empower you. She will support you to align your focus and your unique potential, help you recognise and process challenges and move towards a purposeful outcome.
Heather sees the coaching experience as an adventure and uses a range of creative resources to honour you and allow you to develop the skills which enable you to achieve your personal goals.
As your coach, she appreciates just how significant your narrative is and also how important storytelling is. Heather uses techniques and skills to validate and authenticate your experiences, both your suffering and your joy.
By reviewing your own story, she will help you to recognise the masks worn and how you take personal control to meet your sense of purpose. She will help you connect to your internal conductor - the I - and to see and validate all your internal subpersonalities.
Heather offers a particular leadership developmental approach which has its roots in Assagioli’s pioneering psychological Act of Will. She uses methods and techniques to enable and enhance an individual’s capability for a leadership role and the responsibilities attached to such a role.
She uses approaches that will:
Heather offers supervision to individual coaches. She sees the supervision relationship as professional, developmental and collaborative, allowing coaches to reflect upon their practice whilst supporting a deeper understanding of themselves and their coachees.
Heather will help you develop as a coach practitioner through reflective dialogue. She will support your internal exploration, help you to review issues and vulnerabilities and assist you in connecting to a deeper sense of self.
From 2021 onwards Heather will be working in partnership with colleagues to provide thematic workshops. Please contact Heather directly or see her facebook page for further information.
Psychosynthesis is essentially a psychology of love and will and also of hope.
Developed by Dr Roberto Assagioli in the early part of the 20th Century, it is a psychology that recognises the tiers of the human psyche, focusing on an individual’s spiritual experience, the aspects of self that attempt to find a sense of purposeful completeness and to encompass connection to the whole.
Psychosynthesis coaching offers a creative, supportive and holding methodology to help individuals:
Heather couldn’t have been a more fantastic coach; she put me at ease but still challenged me to think differently. Her insight is astounding, she builds tailored solutions for managing the things so they become second nature. Heather has given me a bedrock of confidence and knowledge about myself which has not only helped me to immediately move forward in my career, but will support me for the rest of my life.
Fortuitously, Heather and I met at just the right moment. If I hadn’t started my coaching with Heather I would still be struggling to define what “it” was I needed and what “it” meant to get there. Heather has a way of coaching that is both personable, incisive and intuitive. She helps you to identify to maximise the opportunity you have. Heather successfully guided and empowered me and helped me to identify what I wanted to achieve. If you need a coach I would highly recommend Heather.
Heather asks the insightful questions that make me reflect on what is really important and what blocks me from moving forward. Through our coaching conversations I have the courage to make and embrace change. She has helped me to focus and prioritise and I am better able to look at challenges in different ways and progress meaningful solutions. Because of the coaching I received from Heather I am much clearer on what I want from life and my career and how I will now achieve it.
The sessions were both enjoyable and productive. Combining deep attention to experience, insight and good humour enabled a level of self-reflection and learning that was particularly revealing and useful. Definitely recommended when seeking a deeper insight into yourself and who you want to be.
